well lucky for them helvetica is genius. as far as the video goes, some shitty camera on autoexposure with the same angle and what might as well have been on camera sound does not strike me as amazing. lucky for them it doesnt have to i guess. matt and delta spirit is amazing enough. i can see one arguing its merit on some trendy indy level saying “its so raw and uncut” and even how courageous the single take is but i would like to draw a clear line between raw shitty and raw genius. a planned shoot that took an entire day that results in this cliche park sing along is raw shitty. i still like it cuz i cant help but like all delta does but damn us all if there is not a fan out there that demands more of those responsible for connecting us with the music we live by.
